Testimonials

“Amanda taught two wonderful clay workshops at our Libraries After Dark sessions for Hume Libraries. Amanda wrote a program outline suited exactly to the library needs and is a delightful communicator. Amanda provided all the tools we could possibly need and arrived early to set them up. Her method of teaching is warm and patient which really helped to nurture the creativeness of the attendees and we ended up with some fantastic pieces. It was a wonderful program and I can't recommend her highly enough. We've organised to have her back already next month - this time to run a workshop for children. Can't wait to have her back!”

— Lauren M, Hume Libraries

“Amanda facilitated a 2.5hr wellbeing workshop where she spoke about the benefits of creativity through clay making for our wellbeing. Participants were taught how to hand build a cup, and had the opportunity to make 1-2 additional items of their choice. Amanda took our pieces back to the studio for glazing and firing, and returned our beautiful pieces to the office for everyone to collect. This workshop was everything I had envisioned - a fun, relaxing and informative session where we could connect with ourselves and each other. Everyone had such a wonderful time, I would highly recommend booking a private session with Amanda!”

— Melissa Y, BHP Group Limited

“I worked with Amanda to deliver a wellness workshop for the University of Melbourne's annual MD student conference. As a conference that's put together by student volunteers, she was very patient with us and understanding of the budget constraints and worked with all of our ideas to bring them to life! She even put together a presentation at the beginning of the workshop to highlight tactile wellness and made the entire workshop super relevant. The students absolutely loved the experience and we will definitely try to bring her back again next year!”

— Annu C, Doctor of Medicine Student Conference

Design your event

  • Make your next event one to remember! While any of our group studio classes can be privately hosted, we specialise in custom-designed programs to match your specific event needs, interests, goals and objectives.

  • We work effectively and mindfully with diverse individuals using clay to facilitate healing and self-expression.

Drawing upon our professional training in psychology, education, healthcare and art therapy, we’re uniquely positioned to integrate health and wellness into our workshop design and delivery. Our past bookings have combined clay making with evidence-based wellness presentations, individual and group reflections, as well as guest speaker talks.

We also welcome working with NDIS participants and open a limited number of spaces for 1:1 tutoring each year (see ‘NDIS participants’ below).

  • Working with clay has shown to reduce anxious thoughts and feelings, improve depressive symptoms and boost levels of hope. No matter your age, background or how creative you feel you are, our private classes can be a safe space for you to learn a new art skill while finding relief from life’s stressors.

If you’re an NDIS participant, we offer 1:1 private tutoring either on a fixed or ongoing basis. You’re also welcome to attend your class with support workers and/or carers at no extra cost (note: special rates will apply if they’d like to participate in art making). We’ve worked in the NDIS industry for 3 years and understand the requirements around billing and can make the appropriate accomodations on request.

Currently we’re not a registered NDIS provider, however, this is something we’re looking at changing in the near future.
