Private Tutoring

Our friendly team will get in touch with you to provide more information and a quote, so you can decide whether you’d like to go ahead with your booking.

This is also the perfect time to ask any questions and have them answered right then and there.

Please note that we offer private tutoring as a 4-class package, where each class is typically held on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. We work in blocks of 4 classes (rather than single classes), as this allows time to familiarise yourself with various techniques, begin developing your clay practice, and experience the different stages of pottery hand-building (e.g., making and glazing).

If you’re looking for a one-off experience, we also teach group classes at our studio.

If you feel that we’re right for you, we’ll then invite you to book your classes using the calendar below.

Towards the end of your package, you’ll receive an email with a link to book your next block of 4 classes if you decide to continue.

However, if you’d like to pause or end your clay journey with us at this point, that is more than okay – no pressure at all!

Your tutoring sessions can be held at any address of your choosing (e.g., home, library), as long as the meeting place has easy access to a sink. We’ll bring all the clay, tools and materials needed for each lesson, and personally transport your creations back to our studio for firing after each session.

Firing is a key process in pottery that involves using specialised equipment (called a kiln) to heat raw clay and transform them into food-safe, durable pieces that will last a lifetime. Our team will carefully fire your handmade creations in our private kiln before delivering them back to you.
