Fossil Mug

Large mug featuring an earthy, tactile finish and white gloss fleck. Crafted by blending natural stoneware clays to create rich layers and textures like fossils found in ancient rocks. Each has an organic shape with gentle curvatures in the rim. Slowly built by hand without the speed of a pottery wheel and consciously crafted in our Healesville studio. Sold individually.

Care instructions

This item is food safe and top-rack dishwasher safe on a warm, gentle cycle. However, we recommend hand washing and avoidance of thermal shock (i.e., sudden changes between hot and cold temperatures) whenever possible to prolong the life of handmade pottery. As such, we advise customers to allow boiling water to cool for a few minutes (~2-3 minutes) before pouring into their mug. For more details, please see our FAQs page.
