Bring the world of pottery into your home and let’s get making! Our clay kits are perfect for getting together with friends, family, housemates or partners for a fun and creative DIY session. They also make a lovely birthday, anniversary, special occasion or lockdown gift!
Designed for those without prior experience, this kit is all you need to get started in the exciting world of clay. Get creative and explore on your own, or follow our step-by-step visual guide to create beautiful handmade ceramics.
Each kit is carefully crafted and made to order. It includes our most-loved studio tools and favourite paints for adding texture and colour to your creations. All materials are food-safe and non-toxic so your finished work can be used for eating and drinking. In keeping with our sustainability efforts, our instruction cards are now printed on recycled kraft paper and may appear different to the photos shown.
We offer two kit sizes: Standard and Sharing
Our standard kit is ideal for 1-2 people, whereas our sharing kit includes everything in our standard kit plus additional clay (1.2kg extra clay), tools and paints for 3-4 people. Depending on the size of your creations, you may be able to create anywhere between 2-8 ceramics with our standard kit, and up to 15 ceramics with our sharing kit.
Complimentary white gloss glaze
In addition to the kit, we also include a jar of our studio’s white gloss glaze and instructions for firing your work in a local kiln. This package is ideal for those living interstate/overseas who have access to a kiln, as it doesn’t include our glazing and firing service (see our other clay kit package if you live in Victoria and prefer to glaze and fire your work through us). You can find your nearest kiln by searching for terms such as “ceramic firing services” and “kiln services near me”.

Note: Our tools, brushes and paints come in assorted shapes, sizes and colours. As a result, each kit is made to be similar to, rather than exactly the same as, one another and the photos shown. To keep our business sustainable, we also use recycled glass jars and bottles (washed and sterilised of course!) to package our studio glaze whenever possible. Yours might come in a clean pickle jar or mustard sauce bottle!
